Thanks to Kylie and Kourtney and the rest of the Kardashian ladies, there’s still a stigma that boys don’t get BOTOX®. We’re here to tell you that is just not true! In fact, many of our patients seeking the wrinkle-smoothing injectable don’t have curves and wear pants everyday.

Looking younger is becoming essential for maintaining a competitive edge at work. Especially here in Silicon Valley where the one to beat is often in their 20s, the pressure for men and women to appear young can be great. Companies obviously need experienced workers but they also want a team that is youthful and on the cutting edge of innovation.

This may be in part what has caused men to increasingly turn to BOTOX®, or “Brotox” as we like to call it. The most recent figures from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ surveys show that male-focused treatments are on the rise each year, and top of the list is BOTOX®.

When injected, this neuromodulator stops nerve cell signals from arriving at their destinations and temporarily weakens facial muscles so they do not contract or create visible wrinkles and creases. The results of one procedure will last between three to six months, depending on the person.

Men often require more BOTOX® than women simply due to their muscle structure and mass, so it’s important to choose doctors, like Drs. Lieberman and Parikh, who are highly trained in facial rejuvenation and offer “Brotox” to a diverse patient base.

So forget the Kardashians and bring in a bro in for“Brotox.”

But of course, you don’t have to bring a buddy with you (and lady friends are welcome too)!
