Dove is well known for it's classic white bar soap, although more recently they have been undergoing somewhat of a facelift. During the last two years Dove has not only revamped its image, it has launched an extensive skincare range and most recently introduced hair and body care lines.
Dove's main angle is that they know their customers - real women. Dove has invested heavily in advertising campiagns that feature real women as opposed to models. The jury is still out on whether we are buying all this, however since the new products are worthy of praise, we should start buying. |

Problem
I love Dove products, especially the Dove deordorant line; but I have a severe problem with the company testing on animals. Please be aware that millions of animals die everyday in laboratories because they are tested on. I feel it is inhumane and I would greatly appreciate if Dove would discontinue testing on animals. I and all of my friends are discontinuing to buy any Dove products until future notice.
