What started with a nail polish, grew to become one of the giants of the cosmetics world. Revlon was founded in 1932 by two brothers, Charles and Joseph Revson and chemist, Charles Lachman (who provided the 'L'in the REVLON name). Utilizing a revolutionary pigmentation process, Revlon was able to offer women a wide range of rich opaque nail colors that are still enjoyed today.

Today Revlon houses a wide range of skin and hair care lines and produts. Their cosmetics, however remain the best things going for this established line.
