Nasal Reconstruction Using a Paramedian Forehead Flap: Case 3
Demographics | |
Gender | Female |
Age | 70s |
This patient from the Central Valley came to Drs. Lieberman & Parikh for their reputation as the experts in reconstructive surgery. After her Mohs surgery, Drs. Lieberman and Parikh performed a complicated, two-stage surgery to re-establish a natural looking nose and create all the nasal sub units, shadows and facets. After the para median forehead flap was put in place, the pedical had to stay connected for three weeks to allow the blood supply to take before the final surgery could begin. The patient is extremely happy with the final result.
