What is a Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a revolutionary, FDA-approved device that combines the benefits of microneedling and fractionated radio frequency (Rf) to create firmer and tighter skin on your face and neck. Morpheus8 is minimally invasive, safe, non-surgical, and has almost no downtime.

Morpheus8 uses a matrix of micro pins that create tiny puncture wounds in the superficial dermis. This stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and new skin cells. The addition of radiofrequency energy that is transmitted during this process sends electric currents deep into your skin which actually reorganizes the building blocks of your skin for a natural anti-aging treatment.

Is this a dream come true? The makers of Morpheus8, inMode, named the device after the character Morpheus, the hacker-mentor of Neo in The Matrix because of the treatment uses a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin. Also, The Matrix character was named after Morpheus, the Greek God of Dreams, so maybe Morpheus8 could be a dream come true!

What to Expect During the Procedure

The Morpheus8, a Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device, SARD, uses 24 needles to deliver an electric current which cause the molecules deep in your skin to rotate. This rotation creates heat in the tissues which hyper-activate your collagen production.

Since Morpheus8 needles are thinner than traditionally microneedling needs, they are able to go deeper, up to 4 mm. During a Morpheus 8 treatment, your provider at L&P Aesthetics is able to adjust the microneedles to a depth your skin can tolerate. The deeper the needles go, the more collagen can be stimulated
