AAASC is a fully-accredited ambulatory surgery center that has achieved its Medicare deemed status by meeting and exceeding standards set forth by nationally recognized authorities – we are compliant under Quad A. Our center specializes in procedures for cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Our facilities include comfortable patient care areas, including:

Having a single OR facility allows our experienced staff to give undivided focus and attention to one patient and provide continuity of care from admission to recovery. Highly Credentialed Staff at AAASC
Patients appreciate the ease of scheduling, the exceptional nursing care provided by AAASC staff, and the personalized attention they receive from the surgeons to the anesthesiologists, and the entire support staff.
All surgeons who operate at AAASC must be eligible or board certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery or another surgical specialty. All surgeons are required to have privileges with at least one of our local hospitals, including Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Stanford Hospital, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, Sequoia Hospital, El Camino Hospital, Peninsula Hospital or Good Samaritan Hospital.

Jeannie has over 25 years of experience and is ANCC board-certified in advanced cardiac care. Her 17-year tenure at a local hospital has equipped her with the expertise to care for even the most critical patient populations.

Jen Coler, BSN, RN
Perioperative Nurse
As a full-time member of our nursing staff, Jen consistently provides an environment of comfort and reassurance, ensuring our patients feel supported throughout their care. She holds a B.S in Biology from Creighton University and a BSN from Arizona State University.

Likes: Riding bikes, hiking (especially in Yosemite), baking and folding laundry or making neat things from messy piles.
Favorite Treatments: Botox, but BBL is a close runner-up. I love how they both freshen up your face. My favorite surgery is upper and lower blepharoplasty for its fast recovery and instant results that brighten up a face.

Anesthesia at AAASC
AAASC offers a full range of anesthesia options from local to general anesthesia. The decision about what type of anesthesia will be determined by a discussion between the patient and the surgeon with a consultation with one of our highly-qualified and personable anesthesiologists who are members of the highly regarded group, Vituity.
The AAASC team has hand-selected a small number of only the best to take care of our patients. These anesthesiologists also work in the hospital (acute care) which demonstrates their ability to care for critically ill patients.
Serious complications are very rare, but patients can rest assured that at AAASC, they will be cared for by highly experienced anesthesiologists and highly trained and experienced RN’s in a calm and reassuring environment.
At AAASC, we only treat one patient at a time so all of our medical providers are 100% focused on a single patient.
The team at AAASC receives education and training for pain management and these annual trainings keep our staff up to date on the best evidence-based interventions. In fact, our team exceeds the national benchmark for post-op pain prevention.
There are multiple modalities, medication and non-medication that can increase a patient’s comfort which we track and benchmark to ensure the interventions are successful.
Prior to surgery, our medical team will review personalized discharge instructions with each patient.
After the surgery, our team will provide the caregiver with these same individualized instructions and review the key areas to focus on during recovery. L&P Aesthetics offers a 24-hour private phone line so our care team can be reached at anytime, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
