Dr. Steven Curti

Dr. Steven Curti

Dr. Steven Curti is a board-certified head and neck surgeon and fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving Palo Alto and Los Gatos, CA. He trained in the San Francisco Bay Area directly under Dr. David Lieberman and Dr. Sachin Parikh, elevating his aesthetic skills and sensibilities to provide the caliber of natural-looking results the surgeons are renowned for.

After years of studying head and neck surgery, Dr. Curti discovered a love for facial plastics after a moving experience with a woman who had been abused.

“We performed a reconstructive and cosmetic rhinoplasty on a lady who was in an abusive relationship, resulting in a deformed nose she couldn’t breathe out of. Not only did it help her heal physically, but it also did wonders for her emotionally, being able to partially put the abusive memories in the past.”

Since then, Dr. Curti has been devoted to honing his aesthetic abilities and providing customized care to those he has the privilege of treating. He believes that because everyone is unique and looking to achieve different goals, there is no single treatment that fits all needs. He works closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan, complete with the most advanced and reliable surgical and nonsurgical techniques to help people meet their personal goals.

Today, Dr. Curti works primarily out of our Los Gatos office as the location’s medical director, in partnership with Dr. Lieberman and Dr. Parikh, who work primarily out of our Palo Alto office.

Education & Training

Dr. Curti completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he graduated summa cum laude and second in his medical school class. He continued his training with a residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

After attaining a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi, Dr. Curti relocated to Palo Alto to complete fellowship training under Dr. Lieberman, Dr. Parikh, and Dr. Harry Mittelman. During this fellowship, Dr. Curti refined his expertise in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery before joining the L&P Aesthetics team as a surgeon.

Giving Back

Philanthropy is an ongoing priority for Dr. Curti. He previously volunteered at the Sojourner Health Clinic, which provides free outpatient care to Kansas City’s underprivileged population. During the Beta Theta Pi fraternity’s “Beta Week,” he helped raise funds to support the clinic.

After the 2016 flood in Baton Rouge, Dr. Curti traveled to the area to assist in demolition and cleanup efforts. He has been an active member of the Catholic men’s service group Knights of Columbus since 2016.
