What Is The Secretome Process?
Secretome is the only treatment of its kind produced entirely from your own biology. Here is how it works, from initial consultation to application.

- Consultation – The first step is to schedule a consultation with one of our advanced aesthetic providers to discuss your treatment goals and to evaluate if you are a good candidate for the treatment.

- Cell Collection – The process begins with autologous stem cell banking, during which a small sample of your hair follicles is collected by one of the L&P Aesthetics providers. This process is relatively painless and takes about half an hour to complete.

- Laboratory Processing – From these follicles, potent stem cells are carefully extracted and preserved for future use. These cells are then used to produce “secretomes”, a highly concentrated topical formulation rich in growth factors and signaling molecules.

- Treatment Day – Once your secretomes arrive back at L&P Aesthetics, it will be time for your treatment. Secretomes can be applied similarly to treatments such as PRP, PRF, or traditional exosomes. They can even be applied to your skin post-procedurally. The secretome application with other modalities maximizes your results.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is derived from your blood and delivers growth factors from platelets. The secretome is derived from your stem cells and delivers a far broader spectrum of regenerative molecules which include exosomes, cytokines, peptides, structural proteins, and antioxidant enzymes in addition to growth factors, at concentrations up to 34× higher than PRP. It is a more complete
regenerative signal.

Side effects are minimal. Because the secretome is derived entirely from your own biology, allergic reactions are rare. Some patients experience mild, temporary redness or sensitivity at the treatment site, consistent with what is typical for microneedling or laser procedures when used in combination.
