Morpheus8 has taken over the aesthetics industry, in the Bay Area and beyond! What is all of the hype about? Many people want to look younger, with tighter, plumper skin, without going under the knife or spending tens of thousands of dollars. If you are looking for a nonsurgical facial skin tightening option, look no further than Morpheus8.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally-invasive microneedling treatment with radio frequency energy, and it is FDA-approved. Patients at L&P Aesthetics are getting all of the benefits of regular microneedling like boosting collagen and helping with skin texture, while also getting the skin-firming and tightening benefits from the radio-frequency.

How is Morpheus8 different from microneedling?

The micro needles used in Morpheus 8 are able to penetrate deeper layers of the skin compared to microneedling, allowing for more collagen production, post treatment. This combined with radio frequency, allows for Morpheus8 to give all of our Bay Area patients firmer, smoother, and more glowing skin.

What does Morpheus8 target?

Morpheus8 targets the following skin conditions:

  • Mild sagging, skin laxity or jowling
  • Divots from acne scarring
  • Poor skin texture
  • Sun damage
  • Deep lines and creases
  • Enlarged pores
  • Stretch marks

Does Morpheus8 work?

Our patients have seen phenomenal results after completing a series of three or six Morpheus8 treatments. Most patients notice the most dramatic difference in the nasolabial folds (vertical lines between the nose and lips) as well as on the neck, but every person is different. Every treatment of Morpheus8 covers the face and/or neck and results depend upon each patient’s unique skin condition.

When do you see results from Morpheus8?

Results from Morpheus8 gradually appear after the treatment with the optimal results showing three months after the last treatment.

Who is a good candidate for Morpheus8?

Unlike other aesthetic treatments, people with every skin type can get Morpheus8. There is no risk of hyperpigmentation on darker skin. At L&P Aesthetics, we do require all patients consult with a provider before being treated to ensure that Morpheus8 is the best treatment for their particular skin concerns.

Does Morpheus8 hurt?

The providers at L&P Aesthetics do everything they can to provide the most comfortable treatment possible. All Morpheus8 patients numb the area of treatment an hour before, and will also be offered Pronox if it is too uncomfortable. Most patients tolerate the discomfort without any issues but should you feel very uncomfortable, your provider will take a break and potentially add more numbing cream.

What is the downtime associated with Morpheus8?

Downtime associated with Morpheus8 ranges from a few hours to a few days, depending on the patient. Most people can expect to be a little red and swollen for 1-3 days after being treated. However, you may resume daily activities immediately.

Is Morpheus8 a nonsurgical facelift?

Morpheus8 has been called a “nonsurgical facelift” because patients see visible reduction of sagging or lax skin, which is notoriously difficult to treat without surgery. The providers at L&P Aesthetics usually recommend a total of three Morpheus8 treatments spaced-out between four to six weeks for optimal results. When combined with other nonsurgical treatments like BOTOX, dermal fillers and possibly FaceTite, the results can be stunning.

What is the best way to tighten my skin?

Although Morpheus8 is one of the best non-surgical, face-tightening treatments on the market – Ultherapy and FaceTite are also options – it is still a nonsurgical procedure which does not compare to surgical results. Morpheus8 will help with mild skin-sagging and jowling, as well as other skin textural concerns. But, if you want the most dramatic, yet natural, lifting and tightening results, we recommend you schedule a consultation with Drs. Lieberman and Parikh to discuss surgical options.

We also offer Morpheus8 for the body, which can stimulate collagen to improve skin thickness and texture, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, and tighten loose or sagging skin.
