Case Details
This 50-year-old San Francisco Bay Area musician had bags and loose skin under her eyes. With an otherwise very youthful appearance, her eyes created an impression of fatigue and even anger. She wanted to make sure she looked fresh for all of her performances. On exam, she had moderate fat under the eyes causing the bags and a groove under the bags, connecting with her tear trough. She wanted to preserve her ethnicity and not change the shape of her eyes. She was a great candidate for a Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty using a fat transposition technique. With this specialized technique we can use the excess fat to fill the deep groove, preserving natural volume in the lower eyelid complex. The result is a youthful appearance of the eyes, now in better harmony with the other features of her face.
